Chelsea will travel to Brighton for their 2025/26 Premier League match in the 34th round, after which the Blues will participate in the FA Cup semi-final. Rossenier stated that the team must focus more on their performance and move on from past defeats.
In a previous Premier League match, Chelsea suffered a 0-1 home defeat to Manchester United after a goal by Liam Delap was disallowed. Unable to change the score after conceding another goal, they ultimately lost their fourth consecutive match. Following this loss, Chelsea currently sits in sixth place in the league table with 48 points, facing some obstacles in their pursuit of Champions League qualification.
Chelsea manager Rossenier said: "This is a crucial week, that's what we're all about in football, with key games coming one after another. We have a tough game against Brighton, and then we have the FA Cup semi-final against a Leeds United team in great form."
"This is why we're involved in football, and this is what we strive for. Now it's time for us to deliver, and that's something we must work hard to do."
Rosselli pointed out, "The key is our standards and performance; we must stop this slump. We haven't won enough games lately, and that must change. If we keep thinking about the chain reaction of game results, we can't focus on the game itself. We must focus on tomorrow's game, our way of playing, and make sure we win."
"This is a reasonable requirement of the club and an expectation of the fans. If we can't do the job well in the short term, we can't talk about long-term goals."
In addition, Rossellini said, "I must say frankly and respectfully that we have not performed well in recent games, and this is something that needs to be changed, and the responsibility lies with me as the head coach."
“We had to ensure our training was of a high standard, and we have done that. Now, when we head to Brighton, our only focus will be winning that game.”
